Meak Charity Golf Day!

The TUUT Charitable Trust has been a long term supporter of the charity MEAK (Medical & Educational Aid for Kenya), which held its second annual golf day at Bletchingly Golf Club in June 2010.

TU Fund Managers entered four teams made up of representatives from the NUJ, the GMB, Unite and TU Fund Managers. The National Association of Stable Staff (NASS) team - comprising Peter Hawkins, Ken "Scobie" Bedford, Brian Reilly and George McGrath - won the team competition for the second year running.

An additional "Well Done!" goes to George McGrath from the NASS who also won the individual competition.

The NASS was introduced to the work of MEAK by TU Fund Managers a couple of years ago and it now supports MEAK as its overseas charity.

The Golf Tournament and the Charity Auction which followed raised a welcome £6,000 for the MEAK charity.
