Macmillan Palace of Varieties, March 2011

The TUUT Charitable Trust and TU Fund Managers were delighted to show their support for the work of Macmillan Cancer Support by inviting guests to the annual Parliamentary Palace of Varieties, this year held in the beautiful Art Deco Ballroom of the Park Lane Hotel.

This remarkable and unique show demonstrates the hugely entertaining and varied talents of Members of both Houses of Parliament. Were you aware that we have possibly the only Parliamentary Rock group in the world - our very own MP4? Kate Hoey MP answered the question 'What is Cricket?' leaving many of us more baffled than we started. Whilst Baroness Knight of Collingtree DBE now in her 45th year as a Member of one House of Parliament or the other had us all giggling to her recitation 'My lovely pet'.

All the proceeds from the event enable Macmillan Cancer Support to continue providing tailored and much needed emotional, physical and financial support to those affected by cancer, their carers and families.
