Leigh Harrison joins the Board

Leigh Harrison is Head of Equities at Threadneedle Investments and as such is responsible for a large team of investment managers looking after a multi billion pound pool of equity assets. His background is as a UK equity manager having started out as a small cap manager at Hill Samuel in the 1980s and 90s where he gained his earliest experience of TU. He worked with the team that managed TU British for many years and has retained his interest in the business ever since.

Leigh is considered to be one of the top ten UK managers and as such is quite a coup for TU. He is an enthusiastic investor and will be a good addition to the board to provide a questioning partner for Mark Cornwall-Jones and Marion Colverd on the TU Investment Committee. As the individual responsible for setting equity investment strategy at Threadneedle he is up to date with current investment thinking and trends.
