GMB Conference in Southport, 2010

TUFM exhibited at the GMB Conference this year which was held in Southport from 5^th to 9^th June.

It was a very busy week, the highlight of which was the attendance of Andy Burnham, David & Ed Miliband, Diane Abbott and John McDonnell, when each of them gave their views on why they should be elected as the new Leader of the Labour Party.

This was followed by a question and answer session chaired by GMB President Mary Turner.

Due to pressing House of Commons business Ed Balls could not attend on the Monday but addressed the conference on Tuesday instead.
